The Thunderbolt watch from MB&F was inspired by model airplanes which the creator built growing up. Constructed largely of titanium, the Thunderbolt is encased in the gradually arcing lines of a bomber engine housing. While it may not be the easiest watch to read as it is situated on the inward facing edge of what would normally be the entire watch face, it tells time like no other watch... via turbines: one "turbine" for the hours and another for the minutes.
“The Thunderbolt's engine is the culmination of three long years of development. Each of the 300-plus components – including the regulator and even the screws – was developed specifically for this anarchistic calibre.”
